The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Kāʻanapali has unveiled the final piece of its $120 million transformation: The Hōkūpaʻa at The Westin Maui, a luxury beachfront tower that offers an elevated guest experience, including a private lounge with exclusive amenities. According to Gregg Lundberg, general manager of The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Kāʻanapali, guests will enjoy the tower’s emphasis on well-being, from the new culinary offerings to the spa treatments.
Inspired by Hawaiian culture and tradition, and named after the North Star, the 217-room Hōkūpaʻa was completely renovated, while a dedicated guest experience team tends to the needs of guests prior to their arrival and throughout their stay. All Hōkūpaʻa guests have exclusive access to The Lānai at Hōkūpaʻa, a venue on the tower’s second level offering personalized culinary and cultural offerings inspired by Maui’s natural elements and native culture, including lei poʻo (head adornment) making to farm-fresh chef demonstrations and craft mixology tastings.
Guests will also have access to infinity-edge cocktail pools, daily artisan breakfast, moʻolelo (storytelling) sessions and a private bar. Good to know: Hōkūpaʻa guests also have priority booking for amenities offered throughout the resort.
Adjacent to The Lānai is the newly remodeled Heavenly Spa by Westin, offering a full range of specialty treatments like therapeutic massages, invigorating body treatments and an infrared sauna. The spa carries a range of Hawaiʻi-made spa products, including lotions, oils and scrubs sourced from locally grown ingredients.
In addition, new culinary experiences include waicoco by chef Chris Kajioka, Mahele Market, Hale Moʻolelo and Hale ʻĀ. Other upgrades covered the resort’s six-pool aquatic landscape.
